Terms and Conditions

Thank you for visiting the Jet Set Saddlery & Countrywear Ltd (Jet Set) web site www.jetsetequestrian.com (jetset equestrian). By placing an order by Fax, Phone, or using the jetset equestrian web site you agree to be bound by the T & C's set out below.

Ordering Goods

When ordering goods by  Phone or online you are creating a contract between yourself and Jet Set and or jetset equestrian. The law governing the Contract is Scottish Law but the English Law as applying to the purchase of goods will also be applicable. You have the protection of the current Sale of Goods Act and any future amendments made to the Sale of Goods Act. Jet Set confirm that you are entitled to rely on all Consumer Protection legislation in particular Distance selling procedures and laws.

Pricing, processing your order and payment

The price of goods as quoted on the web site should be correct but errors occur and where we (Jet Set) have made a substantial error in quoting a wrong price then we reserve the right not to supply the goods and give you the option to cancel the contract without cost to you.

When your order has been received we will fulfill the order as soon as possible. Should you wish to amend the order then you should do so as soon as possible by contacting us by email at info@jetsetequestrian.com phone 01563 861870 and we will accept the amendment or cancellation if the goods have not been despatched. Jet Set reserve the right not to supply any order. Examples would be a very exceptional value order, or a small heavy or low value order to Highlands and Islands or other offshore destination.

Payment for your order will be taken at the time of placing your order. All payments by credit, debit cards and using your PayPal account are collected and processed through the robust SagePay gateway. It is impossible for Jet Set to guarantee that SagePay could not be subject to a breach in their security system. Any breach however would not leave you the customer suffering third party financial loss. Find out more about SagePay's security policy.

Availability and Pricing

When advertising goods for sale we do so in good faith but circumstances beyond our control can prevent us from fulfilling your order promptly or within 28 days or indeed not at all. Without our knowledge suppliers can alter the specifications of their goods, withdraw their goods from sale or be unable to supply goods they had offered Jet Set for sale. As soon as any circumstance regarding non availability is known to us we will inform you the customer to allow you to accpet a delay, a change of colour,or a change of goods with or without a price adjustment. Our method of communication will either be by telephone or email to the address supplied when ordering.

Delivery and Returns

Our goods are depatched by Courier or the Post Office. Not all goods depatched will use a tracking service. We cannot be held responsible for any goods not received by you if you have provided incorrect delivery details. We cannot be held responsible if you provide specific intructions to leave the goods outside your house or with a neighbour and they subsequently cannot be found.

Any goods returned remain your responsibility until received by Jet Set at their business premises. If a refund is requested then we will deal with this within 7 days of receipt of the goods by returning the cost of the goods through the SagePay payment gateway to the card or PayPal account you used to purchase the goods. You will not be entitled to a refund of Postage for the amount charged to deliver the goods to you or incurred by you to retrurn the goods if you have merely selected not to keep the goods. You will be entitled to a refund of your return cost outlay if the reason for returning was that Jet Set had wrongly dealt with your order.Goods should also have all original ticketing returned with the goods. Our Returns Form advises that if the goods supplied are not what you want then you must return them unused, unsoiled and in their original packaging no later than 14 days after receiving them.

Bit Hire (Terms and Conditions)

Selected Neue Schule and Bomber Bits can be Purchased and returned under the Bit Bank scheme offered by Jet Set. At the end of the description of the Bits on the Web Site there will be the mention of whether a specific Bit is available under the scheme. It is the most popular Bits which are available under the scheme.

Bits purchased in store and by Mail Order can be retained for 30 days. A refund of 90% will be given on the Bit being returned. If the Bit is purchased on the Web Site then by accepting delivery you accept the Terms and Conditions of the Hire Arrangement.

  • A refund cannot be requested after the 30 day trial period
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the Bit is taken Care of and kept safe from theft and loss. All packaging must be returned
  • The Bit should be cleaned after use with warm water as we will thoroughly clean and disinfect the Bit upon it's return. Cleaning the Bit with other chemicals may damage the Bit and invalidate the Hire Terms
  • Our Company cannot be held responsible for any diseases, infections or mouth sores after trialing the Bit
  • The Trial Bit will be sent out as soon as possible and any undue delay regarding availability will be notified to the customer
  • If fully satisfied with the Bit the trial Bit may be exchanged for a brand new Bit
  • For Mail Order Hires the customer has to pay for the Postage both for Jet Set to send the Bit and the return cost. If a brand new Bit is requested then the cost of sending it to the customer will be borne by Jet Set
  • We will endevour to refund the cost of the Bit except for the 10% Hire charge within 7 days of receiving the unwanted Bit back at our premisies
